Smoother movement, safer accounts, and better mobile play
Nine late-game characters move more naturally, account owners have safer data controls, and mobile runs are easier to read and resume.
Nine characters get a movement overhaul
Golden Child, El Niño Rey, Chancla Titan, Detention Bot, Food Court Shogun, Homeroom Haunt, Oven Oracle, Parking Lot Punk, and Pastry Punisher all received updated directional walk animations. The game now uses the artwork drawn for the direction a character is actually travelling instead of quietly swapping or mirroring it. Frames share consistent sizing and ground alignment, which cuts down on jitter, size pulsing, and stray fragments around moving characters. These changes are especially noticeable in the crowded late game, where a clean silhouette makes attacks and movement easier to follow.
A camera that fits the screen
On phones and compact browser windows, the minimum camera zoom now adapts to the arena and the available screen space. That gives players a better view of the action without forcing every device into the same camera limit. The checkpoint screen also keeps its navigation in place while the stage list scrolls separately, making long runs easier to resume.
Safer control over account data
The account screen now offers two clearly separated choices: reset game progress or permanently delete the account. Both require the current password and the recovery email already attached to the account, followed by a confirmation. Resetting removes scores, saves, unlocks, buffs, soles, and run progress while leaving purchased emeralds intact. Permanent deletion also removes the account's sessions, chat messages, playtest feedback, and bug reports.
Leaderboard progress is safer mid-run
A run's stage, kills, level, and damage are now recorded whenever a stage is cleared, not only when the run ends. Repeated network requests for the same run update its best result rather than adding conflicting entries. The refreshed leaderboard is returned after the stage clear too, so players can see their progress sooner.
A small audio adjustment
The defeat scream is now quieter, keeping it from overpowering the rest of the game's audio during repeated runs.
